Those of you who have followed my creative journey for some time will know I have fallen in love with photography, taking images of my own practice for my website and social media, and capturing moments on days out and with friends and family.
This year, I am adding another 'thread' to my creative practice, one I will be sharing more of over the coming weeks and months - Brand Photography for Artists and Craftspeople.
As an artist who has a background in magazine journalism, and with a growing following on social media, I am uniquely placed to understand the photography needs of creative people who often make do with phone snaps of their beautiful work and inspiring studio spaces.
If this is you, look no further - I have an eye for the light and the detail, and can tell the story of you, your work and you studio through meaningful, atmospheric images.
When you book a shoot with me, I will take the time to discuss what you have in mind, the story you want to tell and the types of images you require, whether that is for updating your website, refreshing your social media, providing headshots for exhibitions or for pitching to the press.
"But I hate having my photo taken!"
I hear that a lot, especially from people who are more familiar with putting their work forward, rather than themselves. Having your photo taken can be daunting, but I am here to hold your hand, and capture those natural, un-posed moments, those incidentals, as well as the more formal photographs you might need. Nothing is rushed, and I will gently encourage you from behind the camera, working collaboratively with you to produce a collection of images that work for you and your practice.
If you would like to explore the possibility of your own Brand Photography Shoot, do get in touch. I would love to help you tell your story.
About me:
I take thoughtful, story-led, brand photographs of crafts people, artists and other creatives in their studios.
I also offer mini-shoots for individuals or creative teams, to longer, more intimate studio visits where I can capture the quiet corners of your creative space.
I'm based in Hampshire, UK, but am able to travel to you.
