Join me for a live, online session (on GoogleMeet) on Wednesday 22nd April 2026.
In this gentle online class you’re warmly invited to slow down and explore the simple, rhythmic act of hand stitching as a way of resting the mind and reconnecting with the pleasure of making.
This is not a technical sewing class, and you don’t need any experience. The focus is on working slowly and intuitively with a few very simple stitches, allowing marks to build gradually on cloth. I’ll guide you through the process and share a few gentle prompts along the way, before we begin to stitch together.
This class is for you if you’re feeling creatively stuck, curious about hand stitching, or are simply in need of a calm space to make something with your hands. You’ll leave the session with a small, hand stitched textile piece and a simple approach to slow stitching that you can return to again and again.
Places are limited and this workshop will not be recorded.
Timed to be accessible to stitchers in UK/Europe and USA/Canada.
I do hope you can join me.
